BORN IN ASIA

Asian Americans are the fastest-growing major ethnic group in the United States. More than 20 million Asians live in America.
Asian Americans contribute in every sector our society and trace their roots to more than 20 countries in East and Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent, each with unique histories, cultures, languages and other characteristics.
We will collect best stories of Asian American immigrants into a book called “Born in Asia – Stories of Celebrated Asian Americans’. The selected stories and Asian Americans will also be featured in the documentary.

Whether you are the 1^st, 2^nd or the 3rd generation immigrant, you and your family have stories to share! We will award $1000 to the best story of the year and select the best stories to the book, “Born In Asia – Stories of Asian Immigrants.”

Length: 3000-5000 words
Contest Rules:
The contest is judged by the editors of “Born in Asia.”
One winner will be selected each year. The contest will award $1000 plus publication in “Born in Asia.”
There is a $29 non-refundable entry fee for each story. The entries have to be submitted online by the deadline.
The author will grant full copyright to Born In Asia/Global Dragon TV.
